From 1 November 2010 all amateur-fishing charter vessel operators will need to register
with the Ministry for Primary Industries.

This is the letter that has been sent out to those operators known by the Ministry for Primary Industries
The following forms may be downloaded, printed, completed and then sent to FINNZ for processing.

An Online Registration form requires you to complete and submit details for an Operator and Approved User only, enabling you to create any Contact Persons, Skipper/Guides and Vessels online.
The application fee must be included with the application form

A Manual Registration form requires you to complete and submit details for an Operator and all Contact People, Skipper/Guides and Vessels associated with your Operator registration.
The application fee must be included with the application form.

Use this form to allow people to access the website and manage any of the Operator’s details including contact details, Vessels and Skipper/Guides.
This person may also sign any forms on behalf of the Operator.
Fee: There is no charge for this service

Use this form to record either a Skipper/Guide (who will be in charge of the fishing during a charter fishing trip) or a Contact Person (for any people we should contact for Amateur-fishing Charter communications, specifically in the areas of finance, returns, vessels or general client information).
An Approved User may also do this online.

Complete this form to list a Vessel that will be used for charter fishing.

Use this form to manually re-register as an operator for another year. Please note that once re-registered, you will need to login to the system to re-list any vessels that you intend to operate as a charter vessel during this period. The application fee must be included with the application form.
